The next generation of QMJHL stars will get the call Friday and Saturday in Halifax.
The league’s entry draft starts Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Scotiabank Centre, with rounds two through 12 Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
The Saint John Sea Dogs go into the first day with 10 picks, including fifth overall.
The team is looking to continue building itself back to contender status.
Meanwhile, the Moncton Wildcats are coming off a season where they finished first overall in the league but fell just short of a championship.
They have nine picks to work with, although nothing until the third round on Saturday.
The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies have the first overall pick, followed by Victoriaville and Halifax.
