Water Cooler Talk (June 1 – June 7)

Here’s 5 interesting things you can talk about this week with your family, friends and co-workers!

1: Did you know that part of the reason an all-new stretch of highway was built between Charlotte County and Saint John was to preserve the old, narrow granite bridges along the old stretch of highway?

2: June is named after the Roman goddess Juno, protector of marriage and childbirth.

3: Most species of ducks can cruise comfortably between 64 to 96 km/h in flight.

4: Because they are in the legume family, lupins share several signature traits with their cousins (like peas, beans, chickpeas, and peanuts).

5: The top 3 shows on network television in June of 1986 were The Cosby Show, Family Ties and Murder She Wrote.
