James worked in the cold storage for a few years; he also worked as a deck hand on a lobster boat and scallop boat. He also went sword fishing and eel fishing. You would often find James in the wood pile, doing a word search or singing and tapping his feet. He enjoyed going to Stella Maris Community Centre every Sunday to listen to the Music Jam. It was also a for sure thing that if the Blue Jays were playing, he would be watching the game.
James always made people laugh with his humour. He will be remembered by his kindness (he could make friends anywhere), and his stories. Most importantly, James loved his family.
Due to James’ wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services. The family of James would really like to thank the staff at Extra-Mural for their help. Greatly appreciated.
