Water Cooler Talk (March 9 – March 15)

Here’s 5 interesting things you can talk about this week with your family, friends and co-workers!

1: Did you know that most of the early settlers of St. George were British soldiers from the American Revolutionary War? After the evacuation of Fort George in Maine in 1783, around 150 soldiers and their families were granted plots of land in the Undisputed British Territory near the L’Etang River.

2: Crows can remember individual human faces and even hold grudges; often scolding people who have threatened them previously.

3: March is named after Mars; the Roman God of War, not the planet.

4: Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast is the highest grossing film ever released in the month of March, earning $504 million in 2017.

5: About 20,000 liters of air passes through your nose every single day!
