Snowfall warnings issued for southern N.B.

Get ready to dig.

Snowfall warnings were issued just before 11 am on Wednesday, impacting the southern regions.

Areas under warnings include Saint John and County, Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick, Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County and Fundy National Park.

Environment Canada is forecasting up to 20 centimetres of snow to fall this afternoon through Thursday morning.

The highest amounts are expected along the Fundy coast.

Conditions are expected to deteriorate quickly with the falling snow, and that will impact any travel plans.
