Water Cooler Talk (December 8 – 14)

Here’s 5 interesting things you can talk about this week with your family, friends and co-workers!

1: Did you know that Milltown was called Stillwater from 1785-1800? At one point, there were over 20 mills operating in the area, hence the name change to Milltown!

2: A large male black bear can exceed 600 pounds in weight, while females seldom exceed 200 pounds.

3:  Christmas trees were first seen in 16th Century Germany. People decorated fir trees with fruit and nuts – and later sweets, paper shapes and candles.

4: Edward Scissorhands was released in December 1990. It would mark the final film appearance of Vincent Price.

5: Men’s beards are the fastest growing hair on the human body. Good news for us men every winter!
