RCMP say a man reported missing from the Grand Lake area has been found dead.
The 63-year-old was last seen at a home on Route 10 in Youngs Cove in early February.
He was reported missing to police on Friday and Mounties asked for help to find him on Saturday.
On Sunday, police reported the man had been located deceased by RCMP officers, police dog services and the Coles Island Fire Department.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family, friends, and community at this time,” police said in an updated news release.
It is not yet known whether the man’s death is being treated as suspicious.
