$62K raised during Coldest Night of the Year

A weekend walk helped to raise money for those experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness.

Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) took place Saturday night more than 200 different locations across Canada.

In St. Stephen, the 2K and 5K walk raised more than $62,000 in total, according to CNOY’s website.

That money will support Neighbourhood Works, a local charity dedicated to helping those experiencing homelessness.

Organizers say more than $14.1 million was raised from coast to coast.
