Family Day: What’s open and closed in Charlotte County

Family Day is a statutory holiday in New Brunswick, which means many places normally open on a weekday will not be.

Malls, big-box stores and most grocery stores will be closed throughout the province.

If you need a prescription, some drug stores will be open reduced hours.

NB Liquor and Cannabis NB stores will be closed, but some agency liquor stores will be open.

Provincial and municipal government offices will also be closed, but because Family Day is not a federal holiday, Canada Post offices will be open and mail delivery will take place as scheduled.

If you are unsure if something is open or operating on Monday, it is best to call ahead.
