Building, several vehicles damaged in Saint John arson

Saint John police are turning to the public for help as they investigate an arson.

Officers were called to Frederick Street, off Rothesay Avenue, around 7:50 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators believe the suspect gained access to the building through the back door.

The structure and a number of vehicles inside received “considerable” damage, said police.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area who has video surveillance.
