UPDATE: Man wanted on Canada-wide warrant arrested

Saint John police say a 31-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant is back in custody.

The man was wanted for breaching the conditions of his statutory release after allegedly failing to report to the community correctional centre in Saint John.

Police said he was arrested in Moncton on Saturday and remains in custody.

The man is serving a sentence of two years and 11 months for convictions of robbery with a firearm, possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order, failure to comply with a probation order, possession of property obtained by crime and being unlawfully at large.
