UPD: Power restored in Charlotte Southwest

Over 1600 NB Power customers were without electricity for a short time on Friday morning.

Those affected were in the Charlotte Southwest region.

Crews were called in to investigate and had the lights back on just over an hour later.

Poor weather conditions were to blame.
