UPDATE: Highway 1 reopens

Highway 1 between Quispamsis and Hampton has reopened, according to the RCMP.

The eastbound side of the highway was closed at the Palmer Brook Road exit until just before 10:30 a.m. while crews continued clean up of yesterday’s truck fire.
