Local organizations benefit from ‘Smile Cookie’ campaign

Several organizations throughout southern New Brunswick will benefit from the sale of cookies this week.

The annual Smile Cookie campaign by Tim Hortons launches on Monday and runs through May 5.

Cookies sold in St. Stephen and Saint Andrews will benefit the St. Stephen Middle School playground fundraiser.

Sales at the Upper Letang location will go toward the Sophia Recovery Centre for Women.

Last year’s Smile Cookie campaign raised a record $19.7 million nationwide.
