Grand Manan men arrested after ATV stolen

Two men from Grand Manan have been arrested after police say an ATV was stolen in the Saint John area.

Mounties say they received a call about a stolen all-terrain vehicle at around 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

“It was believed that two individuals had stolen the ATV, and were last seen on the Grand Manan ferry heading to the island with it,” RCMP said in a news release on Friday.

Officers located the ATV and arrested two men at the scene. They also seized a “significant quantity” of suspected cocaine.

The two men, aged 60 and 48, were later released on conditions and have an August court date.
