RCMP say they have located a vehicle at the centre of a firearm-related incident in the Oak Bay area of Charlotte County.
Mounties took to social media around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to say they were searching for a white Chevrolet Cruze with damage on the driver’s side.
No further details were made available, but the public was asked to avoid the area.
In an update on Wednesday afternoon, police said they had since located the vehicle.
RCMP said the situation did not meet the criteria for an emergency alert.
