Arrest made following restaurant break-in

Saint John police have made an arrest following a break and enter in the Waterloo Village area.

Officers responded to a restaurant in the 200 block of Union Street around 4:30 a.m. last Thursday.

Police discovered the business had been broken into and cash had allegedly been stolen.

Investigators identified a suspect and arrested a 46-year-old man for break and enter on Monday.

He was later released on conditions and is due to appear in court in February.
