Two prolific offenders arrested in St. Stephen area

Mounties say they have arrested two prolific offenders wanted in the St. Stephen area.

A 36-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning for breaching a conditional sentence order.

Police said he later appeared before a judge, who ordered him to serve the rest of his sentence in custody.

Later that same day, officers arrested a 27-year-old man who was wanted on five arrest warrants.

They included theft under $5,000, mischief under $5,000, and three charges of break and enter.

He was remanded into custody and has a bail hearing set for Wednesday.
