Masked man allegedly robs north end restaurant

Saint John police are looking for a suspect following an alleged robbery at a north end restaurant.

Officers were called to the business on Somerset Street at Magazine Street around 10:18 p.m. Friday.

A man wearing a mask allegedly robbed the business and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as 5’4″ to 5’5″ tall, weighing about 170 pounds, with straggly mid-length brown hair and wearing a dark blue hoodie.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 506-648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
