Man Arrested After Convenience Store Robbed

A man has been arrested after police say a Saint John convenience store was robbed over the weekend.

Police say a masked man entered a store on Loch Lomond Road shortly before 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

“The suspect approached a store employee demanding money while threatening violence,” police said in a news release on Wednesday.

The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police. No physical injuries were reported.

On Tuesday, officers arrested a 35-year-old man for robbery. He was later released on conditions with a court date in May.
