Closures and Cancellations

All schools and education centres in the Anglophone South School District are closed today due to road conditions.
The Francophone South School District has closed its schools in Saint John, Quispamsis, Fredericton and Oromocto.
And schools in the Anglophone West School District are also closed.
NBCC Saint John (incl the AHEC), NBCC St. Andrews, Miramichi, Woodstock, Fredericton (incl corporate office).
NBCC Moncton will open at 10:00am.
Southwest New Brunswick Service Commission – Hemlock Knoll Solid Waste Facility and the Planning office are closed this morning due to road conditions . We will reevaluate opening at noon.

  • Mark Downey started in radio broadcasting in 2001 when NB Broadcasting, now Acadia Broadcasting launched a Country Radio station in his hometown of St. Stephen.  He's the morning show host of 98.1 Charlotte FM and the mid-day host on Country 94.  On Sunday evenings, Mark also hosts the classic country show, The Weekend Jamboree.  He owns his own mobile Wedding DJ Business performing at hundreds of weddings over the years.  Mark was inducted into the New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame in October 2025.
