Fuel Prices Down Across The Board

Gas and diesel prices have taken a tumble across New Brunswick.

The new maximum price for regular self-serve is just under $1.95 per litre.

That is a drop of more than seven cents after the weekly setting by the Energy and Utilities Board.

It is the first time since mid-May that the maximum price has been below $2 per litre.

Diesel prices fell by eight cents overnight and are now sitting at just under $2.10 per litre.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

Meanwhile, the price for heating oil fell by nearly five cents to a new maximum of just under $1.89 per litre.

The most you are now paying for propane is just under $1.25 per litre, a drop of eight-tenths of a cent.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
