Gas, Diesel Prices Climb In N.B.

Gas and diesel prices are up in New Brunswick after the weekly setting by the Energy and Utilities Board.

Regular self-serve is now selling for a maximum of $1.429 per litre, an increase of 1.8 cents.

Diesel prices climbed by three-tenths of a cent to a new maximum price of $1.405 per litre.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

This time last year, regular self-serve was going for $100.1 per litre while diesel was selling for 97.9 cents a litre.

Meanwhile, the price for furnace oil has gone up by four-tenths of a cent to a maximum of $1.225 per litre.

Propane will now cost you $1.196 per litre, an increase of 1.5 cents.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
