Small Drop In Gas, Diesel Prices

Drivers in New Brunswick are getting a slight break at the fuel pumps on Thursday.

Both gas and diesel are down after the weekly setting by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.

Regular self-serve is selling for a maximum of $1.394 per litre, a drop of 1.3 cents.

Diesel prices are also down by 1.3 cents to a new maximum of $1.373 per litre.

Most stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

A year ago, maximum prices were $1.034 per litre for regular self-serve and $1.028 for diesel.

Furnace oil also fell by 1.5 cents to a maximum price of $1.19 per litre, while propane climbed by just over a cent to $1.157 per litre.

Fuel prices are reset every Wednesday night in New Brunswick.
