Canada Easing Some Border Restrictions

Some new steps by the Canadian government when it comes to border restrictions concerning COVID-19.

It says as of Monday, July 5th, 11:59pm, anyone entering Canada, fully vaccinated, will not have to be part of federal quarantine, or take a COVID-19 test on day eight. Also, fully vaccinated people arriving by air will not have to stay at a government authorized hotel.

Travelers can receive a vaccine in any country, and must provide documents proving it.

For anyone who is not fully vaccinated, there are no changes to how they can enter the country, and must follow all quarantine rules.

The government adds these measures are due to the success of vaccine rollout.

This is a developing story and we will have more to come.
