Help Needed To Identify Stabbing Suspect

RCMP in St. George have requested help from the public to identify the suspect in a St. George stabbing on Monday night.

Around 11 p.m., police were told a man was stabbed in a Main Street apartment.

A 27-year-old man was transported to hospital in Saint John for treatment of serious but not life-threatening injuries.

A suspect known as “Brad” took off before police arrived.

He is described as a clean-shaven white man in his mid-20s about five feet six inches tall with a slender build and a tattoo on one of his arms of a playing card on fire.

The man was last seen wearing a camouflaged winter jacket with fur trim on the hood and worn-out brown shoes.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the St. George RCMP detachment at (506)-755-1130 or information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
