Wind And Rain Knock Out Power

More than 4000 New Brunswickers find themselves without power after a nasty mix of gusty winds and heavy rain overnight Monday into Tuesday.

Most of the unplanned outages are in the Kennebecasis Valley/Fundy cluster with the lights out in sections of Rothesay, Quispamsis and Grand Bay-Westfield.

In Charlotte county, several locations on Deer Island and in Chamcook, St. Andrew’s and St. George are also without power.

Restoration times from NB Power range from 6 to 11 p.m Tuesday night.

Saint John Energy was dealing with an outage on Sandy Point Road impacting 93 customers.

All power has been restored.
