Man Charged In Homeless Shelter Fire

Charges have been laid in connection with a suspicious fire at a former homeless shelter in Moncton.

Shawn Malley was arrested on Saturday morning at the Moncton Hospital.

The 26-year-old man is charged with arson with disregard for human life.

The House of Nazareth on Clark Street was significantly damaged by fire last Tuesday.

Investigators determined the fire was deliberately set.

Malley is scheduled to make another court appearance on Wednesday.
