The death of a man in eastern New Brunswick is now being investigated as a homicide.
RCMP found the man inside a home on Route 515 in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent on Friday.
The victim has been identified as 67-year-old Elias Bastarache of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent.
The RCMP’s Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.
Police believe that the man’s death was an isolated incident.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
