Water Cooler Talk (November 24 – 30)

Here’s 5 things you can talk about this week with your family, friends and co-workers!

1: Did you know that Pennfield was named by Quaker Loyalist settlers after William Penn, an early Quaker leader and founder of Pennsylvania?

2: Snow in some Alpine regions can be pink due to pigments produced by algae. This is known as watermelon snow!

3: The tallest married couple ever recorded was Anna Haining Swan, a Canadian woman who was 7’11”, and Martin Van Buren Bates, an American man who stood 7’9″. 

4: Rocky IV was released in November of 1985. It made $300 million on a $28 million budget.

5: Everyone’s tongue print is different. Like your fingerprint, it has unique features that differ for each person.
