Country music fans in New Brunswick eager to learn what is in store for YQM Country Fest next summer will not have to wait much longer, according to promoter Sam Bourgeois.
This comes following yesterday’s lineup announcement from Cavendish Beach Music Festival for 2027.
Tim McGraw, Riley Green and Sam Barber will headline the three-day festival in Prince Edward Island next year.
The big question for many country music fans is how YQM Country Fest plans to respond. Bourgeois says there is no cause for concern.
“It’s coming soon, and it’s very big,” Bourgeois said when our newsroom asked about next year’s festival plans.
While he would not reveal any artists or specific details, Bourgeois said festival-goers can expect a lineup that appeals to a wide range of country music fans.
“All I can say at this time is there’s a good variety for a little bit of every taste for everyone.”
Since launching the festival, Bourgeois said organizers have focused heavily on building strong lineups and delivering a high-quality experience for attendees.
“Ever since we started, we’ve taken great pride in our lineups,” he said. “People understand how much time, effort and money goes into them, and this year is going to be no different.”
For fans wondering whether YQM Country Fest might branch out into other genres, Bourgeois put those questions to rest.
“We’re 100 per cent country,” he said. “It’s staying country.”
The festival has already confirmed its 2027 dates, running from Aug. 26 to 27 at the MusiquART site in Dieppe.
Bourgeois encouraged fans to keep an eye on the festival’s social media channels, saying an announcement is expected soon.
Fans can follow YQM Country Fest on Facebook and other social media platforms for updates and the upcoming lineup reveal.
