2 bodies recovered from reservoir near Saint John

Tragedy near Saint John after two bodies were pulled from the water at the East Branch Reservoir.

First responders were called to a water rescue at the end of Menzie Lake Road around 10:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters from Musquash and Saint John responded to the scene with water and ice rescue equipment.

A Musquash Fire Department spokesperson said the bodies of a man and a woman were recovered from the water.

RCMP and Ambulance NB were also on the scene, as well as the Saint John Police Force.
