Water treatment plant in Saint Andrews going offline for refurbishment

A reminder to Saint Andrews residents.

The water treatment plant on Harkness Road will be taken offline at 9 p.m. Tuesday for a planned refurbishment.

It will be restored by 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to officials with the municipality.

The Town of Saint Andrews says there is enough water in the reservoir to meet needs overnight, but residents are asked to conserve water during this period.

When water services are restored, a town-wide boil water advisory will likely be needed for up to 72 hours.
